I’m Tara LaForge, one of the physician assistant’s here at Eden. I started my career at Children’s Hospital Boston in Hem/Onc and then moved back home to work at Memorial Sloan Kettering and then spent many years as a Transplant coordinator at NYP/Columbia. In addition, I have worked in primary care and functional/integrative medicine over the past few years and have obtained an additional certification as a health coach from IIN in NYC. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunities to work in both pediatric and adult subspecialties and in primary care and find that every experience helped my clinical knowledge and skills to continuously grow and improve. Most of all I have learned so much from my patients and their families and have developed a holistic style of practicing medicine that focuses on finding the root cause of symptoms and treating the whole person. I am passionate about partnering with my patients on the journey toward balance and whole health. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and two children, running, biking, yoga, skiing, practicing my gardening and really anything outdoors.
