Hi there! My name is Sheridan, I’m one of Eden’s Nurse Practitioners providing care in the Manhattan offices and virtually. I obtained my Masters and Doctorate degrees from Columbia University and specialized to be an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. I’ve worked in the medical field for the last decade and I’m confident this was my calling. Prior to graduate school I worked as an RN with severely ill patients and had incredibly challenging yet rewarding experiences. Because of these experiences I recognized there is a need for providers to help fix the primary care gap in our country, and that is what I set out to do. My experience is unique, before finding my way to Eden I worked in acute pulmonary, infectious disease, renal transplant, vascular surgery, and intensive care. I'm passionate about keeping patients as healthy as possible for as long as possible, listening to their stories, and developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships. My style as a primary care provider is compassionate yet jovial, and my goal is to instill trust in my patients so I can provide the best care for them with a holistic approach.
