Hi! My name is Chris and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My work as a psychotherapist is rooted in mindfulness. Specifically, this means that I often bring my clients back to the present moment to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with non-judgment, curiosity, and compassion. It also means that I have an unwavering belief in the basic goodness of all people. I view common mental health challenges, such as symptoms of depression and anxiety, as manifestations of the pain, fear, and wounds we carry with us and which have not yet healed properly. Drawing on my training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), I support my clients in learning skills to cope with life’s challenges. And in the safe yet challenging space of therapy, I guide clients toward self-exploration, healing, and growth, helping them unlock their innate potential for peace and well-being.
